Icon Library
One icon library for all my apps
I built Icon Library to manage icons centrally instead of copying them between projects. My apps can reuse the same images through stable URLs. This portfolio uses the library too.
Find, preview and reuse
- Upload SVG and PNG files and give them readable names.
- Search the collection and preview icons at different sizes.
- Choose colours and copy a ready-to-use image URL.
- See which apps have registered an icon and follow links to those records.
A small app with a reusable API
Flask and SQLite handle the collection and JSON API. Tailwind CSS, DaisyUI and Alpine.js provide the interface, and Docker hosts the app on my NAS. Usage counts describe registered icon mappings, rather than visits or image requests.
